Step-by-Step Guide

How to Participate

A complete guide to buying pSAVE tokens in the Fjord Foundry Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool — from zero to purchase, even if you've never used DeFi before.

What You'll Need

An Ethereum Wallet

MetaMask, Rabby, or any wallet that connects to Ethereum Mainnet. Free to set up.

USDC on Ethereum

The LBP accepts USDC (a US dollar stablecoin). You'll also need a small amount of ETH for gas fees (~$5–$10).

5–15 Minutes

If you already have USDC in a wallet, the purchase takes under 5 minutes. Setting up from scratch takes about 15.

The 5 Steps

Follow these steps in order. Each step includes detailed instructions for both crypto-native users and complete beginners.

You need a self-custody Ethereum wallet to interact with Fjord Foundry. We recommend MetaMask — it's the most widely used wallet in DeFi and works as a browser extension.

1a

Install MetaMask

Go to metamask.io/download and install the browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, or Brave. Or download the mobile app for iOS/Android.

1b

Create a new wallet

Follow the setup wizard. MetaMask will give you a 12-word seed phrase. Write it down on paper and store it somewhere safe. Never share this phrase with anyone. Anyone with your seed phrase can access your funds.

1c

Verify you're on Ethereum Mainnet

In MetaMask, click the network dropdown at the top. Make sure "Ethereum Mainnet" is selected. The Fjord LBP runs on Ethereum Mainnet — not Polygon, Arbitrum, or any other chain.

Already have a wallet? Any Ethereum-compatible wallet works — Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, or a hardware wallet like Ledger. Just make sure it can connect to dApps via WalletConnect or browser extension.

Understanding the LBP Price

How the Price Works

The LBP price starts high and decays over 72 hours. This is by design — it prevents bot sniping and whale advantage. The price decays from approximately $1.20 at the start to $0.05 at the end.

As buyers enter, their purchases push the price up against the decay. The equilibrium — where buying pressure meets decay — is the market-discovered fair price.

When Should I Buy?

There is no single "right" time. Buying early means a higher price but guaranteed allocation. Buying later means a lower price but risk of the sale ending or price rising from other buyers.

Most LBP activity happens in the middle third (hours 24–48). The price typically stabilizes around the market's consensus of fair value during this period.

TimeApprox. PriceWhat to Expect
Hour 0–6~$1.20 → $0.80Price decays rapidly. Few buyers — this is normal.
Hour 6–24~$0.80 → $0.30Early buyers enter. Small price bumps against the decay.
Hour 24–48~$0.30 → $0.10Bulk of participation. Price stabilizes around fair value.
Hour 48–72~$0.10 → $0.05Final buyers. Possible late surge. Floor is $0.05.

Prices are approximate and depend on actual buying activity. The floor price of $0.05 is set by the LBP parameters (96/4 → 50/50 weights with $500K virtual collateral).

Stay Safe — Security Checklist

Only use official links. The Fjord sale page should be accessed through app.fjordfoundry.com or links posted by @flat_cash on X. Bookmark the page.

Never share your seed phrase. No legitimate project, wallet, or exchange will ever ask for your 12-word recovery phrase. If someone asks — it's a scam.

Verify the token contract. The pSAVE contract address will be announced on @flat_cash and flat.cash. Cross-check it on Etherscan before purchasing.

Beware of fake tokens. Scammers may create tokens with similar names. Only buy through the official Fjord sale page — not through random Uniswap pools or DMs.

Use a hardware wallet for large amounts. If you're investing a significant amount, consider using a Ledger or Trezor connected to MetaMask for maximum security.
